Welcome

Thank you for visiting this website. Perhaps you are here seeking support for yourself, a colleague, a friend or loved one? Whatever your reason sometimes life gets really tough and we may need someone in our corner to help us through. Challenging life events (such as bereavement, relationship difficulties, losses, work pressures, stress and significant life changing events) can impact on our emotional wellbeing. Mental health difficulties (such as anxiety, depression, anger, grief) can make life more of a challenge.

What we can help with:
Anxiety, Addictions, Obsessions, OCD, Phobias, Self-harm,  Self-esteem, Confidence, Abuse,  Bereavement and loss, Depression, Co-dependency, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Trauma,  Personal development, Cancer, Health related issues, Cultural issues, Men's issues, Self esteem, Women's issues, Child related issues, Parenting Issues, Infertility, Pregnancy related issues, Relationships, Sexuality, Sexual health, Anger management, Redundancy, Stress, and Work related issues and stress.

We offer a range of evidence based therapies (short and longer term) recommended for mental health and emotional difficulties such as Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma focused CBT, Counselling and brief focused therapies.  Making changes and engaging in therapy / counselling can be frightening and feel like a big step to take. It is our belief that therapy is best achieved working in partnership with each clients' needs at the centre, and we always work flexibly to help each individual address their concerns successfully.

How we work and when:
We predominantly work face-to-face with clients. For some people getting to therapy can be hard, therefore we also work via video link or telephone if preferred, which means sessions are accessible from almost anywhere. Home visits can also be arranged on a case by case basis.

Our hours are flexible: Monday - Friday from  09:00 - 20:00
Weekend slots: Available on request - times by arrangement.

Clients we work with:
Adults, couples, groups and organisations seeking 'Employee Assistance Programmes' or skills training.
